Brisbane rapper/producer APEman has linked up with fellow BNE artists TJ, JayCee and foolish on a vibrant new visual for Snakes, a single off his upcoming NEK LVL EP.
APEman flaunts his unique, punk-influenced style of rapping over heavy 808’s and an eerie, distorted sitar lead produced by tomtom and himself.
TJ enters with a bar-heavy verse that has him flexing his skills in front of an armoured tank, followed by JayCee with the most melodic, wavy flow to come from the two and a half minute track. The last 16 bars of the song come from foolish, stamping his diverse sound on the song with a trippy, spaced-out verse.
The visuals are as vibrant and bright as they are engaging, with the use of an armoured tank the centrepiece of the clip. The visuals from Que Film Collective perfectly capture what you would expect from a track as fast-paced and loud as Snakes.
