5 New Underground & Underrated Songs You Need In Your Life (Pt. 2)

It’s far too often that artists on the come-up don’t get the recognition they deserve, here are five underground Australian Hip-Hop songs that deserve more shine (Part 2).

Find Part 1 HERE

E L K – MAGNETISM

Adelaide rapper E L K comes through with good vibes on his most recent venture, Magnetism. Playing with a lustful, crooning flow over a soulful beat, his happy-go-lucky delivery makes this love song one worth listening to.

E L K’s The Life Of A Weirdo EP drops soon, stay tuned.

$KINNY DOM – BACK DOUGH (ft. BLACK NAPOLEON, PSYCHOSOWDY & EVANDA)

$kinny Dom links up with fellow Perth rappers, and Home Baked crew, Black Napoleon, Psychosowdy and Evanda for a hyped, ad-lib-heavy banger. Each artist adds their own flavour to the track, with every verse as energetic as they are diverse. We look forward to what Home Baked cook-up in 2017.

Don’t sleep on the growing Hip-Hop scene in Perth.

YUNG $AIYAN – $TACKIN

Underground Melbourne emcee Yung $aiyan is severely slept on and it needs to stop. His most recent release, $tackin, is further proof as to why people need to take notice of the young rapper. With a deep, sinister delivery, Yung $aiyan sounds like a natural on the mic, and with a killer work ethic, he’ll only improve.

Get $tackin on your turn-up playlist, you won’t regret it.

RILEY JUICE – MY DOG KEEPS EATING MY CHEETOHS

Riley Juice goes in with succinct, comical bars in his latest single My Dog Keeps Eating My Cheetohs. Not only does Juice’s comical tone shine on this track, his superb lyrical ability is in full flight from the first bar.

With technical rhyme schemes and multi’s that melt into the instrumentation, Riley Juice’s new single is one you can jam to on repeat.

GRIIZZ – XANS & BANDS (ft. TYRØNE)

Griizz‘s Xans & Bands has the Sydney artist linking up with common collaborator Tyrøne on this bass-heavy, trap-influenced banger. Griizz brings a jaded delivery to the track, one that highlights the young rappers magnetic personality. Along with a wavy hook, Tyrøne kick-starts the song with a quality guest verse, which should be expected by now, considering how many features Tyrøne has killed within the last week.

This Sydney crew are on their hustle, shoutout to Kash Kal, King$ton, Big Skeez, Yung Dready, Royce Drixhen, Xai and others.
