Allday finds himself rapping on top of a car during the video, surrounded by a gang of people in white body suits with masks, on some real rockstar shit. Allday also raps in an abundance of other locations, with each scene as gloomy and mysterious as the last.
A woman swimming alone in a pool, in cinematic fashion, is also constant throughout the clip, adding welcome variety to the music video, and although the video’s story line may be difficult to decipher, it remains an engaging clip. The unique and creative visuals add another dimension to the single, and hopefully the clip gives Sides another deserved push into the mainstream, despite it’s belated arrival.
As one of the best songs to come from 2016, the visuals for Sides were everything we’d hoped for, plus more.
