Petero Thony is one of our very favourite up-and-coming emcee’s coming out of ‘burn city right now, and he’s just released a wavy, love-struck new tune, Lose You.
After a wild performance at WVS‘ Big Swell event earlier in April, Petero has kept the ball rolling. Lose You is the follow-up single to one of Thony’s best hits to date, No No (Hennessy), and not only does the young Melbourne rapper back up that quality release, he eclipses it.
Over some playful, floaty production, Thony spits slick, concise verses that have plenty of flavour and character to go with them, while his innate ability to produce bouncy, joyous melodies is once again on show.
Petero Thony is not only a promising young rapper, but already a prolific one. Keep an eye out for what’s to come from the Duke of ‘burn city next.
