Melbourne Producer/DJ Mikey HUNJ has just released a crazy re-work of Allday‘s Codeine 17 (ft. Graceland), following the drop of his own EP, Aurora Gang, back in April.
Taken from Allday’s new album Speeding, the surprise remix (premiered by Pilerats) flips the slow-building, crooning original Allday cut into a lively, electronic-fused banger that pairs chubby boy’s undeniable ability to create a hit with Mikey’s own creative take on the song.
Mikey HUNJ is definitely one rising producer to look out for in 2017, with his EP garnering deserved attention before the reveal of this slick new remix. You can catch him DJ’ing for Allday on the upcoming Speeding national tour with the likes of Japanese Wallpaper, Nicole Millar and Mallrat.
As if the original wasn’t already dope enough, this talented motherfucker takes it to another level.
