Rising Melbourne artists Poppy and Charlie Threads have earned themselves a support slot each for Hip-Hop star 360’s upcoming VI shows at Melbourne’s Howler, on the 23rd and 24th of August respectively.
Poppy has had a monumental 2017 to date, with her single Ocean blowing up over the course of the year, accumulating hundreds of thousands of streams from not only within the Hip-Hop scene, but on national radio too.
Charlie Threads will be performing off the back of his own headline show in Melbourne on the 12th of August, after finding huge success this year through an Alice Ivy and E^ST collaboration, Get Me A Drink. Threads’ 2016 project Palm Trees In Graveyards was one of the best to drop in 2016, showing off the young emcee’s elite lyricism and charisma.
While the two 360 shows that Poppy and Threads will be opening for have sold out, you can still purchase tickets for the third show on the 25th of August, with Pez as support.
Poppy and Threads are two of the countries most promising and brightest artists, and it feels good to see them be recognised for their hard-work thus far.
