The Queensland-based Sprung Hip-Hop Festival has returned in 2017 with a huge line-up announced today via Triple J, following a 4-year break in which Australia was left without a major Hip-Hop festival.
In the past, the festival has featured the who’s-who of Hip-Hop in Australia, with the likes of 360, Seth Sentry, Thundamentals and Drapht all previously having performed at the festival, and 2017’s event is proving to be no different with a stacked bill.
Headlining Sprung 2017 in it’s return effort will be Hip-Hop/Pop crossover star ILLY, as well as fan-favourite Allday, taking place on Saturday the 28th of October at the Gold Coast’s Parkwood Precinct.
If that wasn’t mouth-watering enough, Sprung has catapulted an array of future stars on the bill, with artists such as B Wise, Midas.Gold, Travy P and Carmouflage Rose hoping to steal the show with their high-energy, highly-impressive live performances.
In 2017, Sprung Festival has gifted us with a diverse mix of experienced, accomplished names and young, up-and-coming talents, including some artists that we have been patiently waiting for to appear on a festival line-up for a minute now.
