Every single month we are gifted with a plethora of incredible new Hip-Hop coming out of Australia, here are some of the best new tunes to come from the month of October.
$kinny Dom – Late At Night (ft. Figuero Jones)
Home Baked artists $kinny Dom and Figuero Jones teamed up to deliver a slick, funky new self-produced summer banger that seems to be just a taste of what’s to come over the new year, and it tastes damn good.
Charlie Threads – Rainy Weather Music (EP)
Charlie Threads gifted us with Rainy Weather Music last week, the project we’d been waiting for since the drop of 2016’s Palm Trees In Graveyards, and it didn’t disappoint. Rainy Weather Music is easily one of the most cohesive and complete EPs to come out of the country this year.
Tyrøne – Day Job (Mixtape)
Sydney rapper Tyrøne dropped a brand new 7-track mixtape in October, titled Day Job, an eclectic collection of songs that is already a contender for the most slept on project of the year.
Brandon Stone – Could’ve Been
Brandon Stone recently hit us with Could’ve Been, a seriously slick new RnB banger that displayed Stone’s growth as an artist in the biggest and best way possible, inside a hit song.
Gatsby – In The Woods
Gatsby is a Sydney teenager who has been making waves online for some time now, and his rapidly growing fan will only expand faster if he continues to drop new tunes like In The Woods. The eerie, melodic hook and quick-fire verses are sure to become engrained in your head after just one listen.
Flye – Karma (ft. Wolf Henson)
Flye and Wolf Henson have a chemistry on the mic that does nothing but create magic, and their latest collaborative single Karma is no exception, as the two rising emcee’s each gift us with moody, emotive verses.
