Who’s Next: 360’s Artists To Watch In 2018

We asked a number of accomplished and established Hip-Hop artists in Australia what young rappers they think will make an impact in 2018 for our ‘Who’s Next’ series, first up, we have Australian Hip-Hop royalty, 360.

360’s artists to watch in 2018: Lane-Harry x Ike Campbell, Poppy Rose

360: “Two names to really watch in 2018 is Lane Harry x Ike Campbell. Two extremely talented artists that have been grinding for ages now. They already have fans internationally and I believe they’re only going to get bigger at the rate they’re going.

They’ve recently scored a song on high rotation on triple j which is refreshing to see, because they’ve been busting their asses for a long time to get where they are. It’s a testament to their hard work and dedication to their art to really start making noise Australia wide, and potentially on a larger scale internationally.”

360: “Another name is Poppy Rose – an up-and-coming rapper/singer from Melbourne. She’s extremely talented and shows so much promise and potential as an artist and songwriter. If you go and listen to ‘Ocean’ you’ll definitely agree.

I can’t wait to see what she does cos I strongly believe that she’s going to be massive. Music aside, she’s such a kind person too so I really hope everything happens how I think it will.”

Check back with Off The Clef tomorrow to see Jeswon’s (Thundamentals) picks for 2018!
